Like all of my downloads are in D:\Vortex Mods\skyrimse\Downloads. Does the downloads folder hold all of the downloads for all games? (for example I use Vortex for some Morrowind mods and for Fallout and Skyrim) I just got around to modding SE instead of Oldrim and I thought setting the downloads folder was for each game specifically not every one. If I view metadata there's no file address for the download, just a part that says Source URL that has. When I go to the DOWNLOADS tab, I can see all of the download files. In Vortex, however, I can still choose to reinstall my mods. I've run a Windows search on the drive looking for the downloads and I can't find them anywhere. My mods are all right where I expect them to be, but the downloads folder is perpetually empty.
I hope you don't have to do that.I set up the game, download, and mod folders correctly. Then maybe try re-downloading the mod, otherwise I'd play without it but I would do a clean vanilla re-install of the game and start over. If it were me I would do what Vyvyn Von Cruxxe and SHADOW2K recommended. Say for example if you downloaded this mod back when it wasn't converted properly to form44, that's a mess for sure and any saves you had would most likely be corrupted but that's IF you got it a while back. Could be a problem related to his warning.
3,300 people downloaded this mod since February. So what does all this mean? Well, maybe nothing, I don't know because I don't use the mod and I saw a few people post that they love the mod. Two different posters verified it and it seems the Mod Author fixed it however I saw at least 2 people ask him about the note saying that the esp needed to be fixed and he did not answer the question, Either way the note is remains. And finally I would ask when did you download this mod? I ask because earlier this year it seems this mod was not form 44. Also, I see it's over 150MB download, sometimes you need to redownload and install (how's your internet connection?). "Esp and meshes needed to be fixed" not sure if it has anything to do with your question as it may depend on what other mods you have installed IF there is a conflict. Couple things, the Mod Author has this posted directly above the Download button
